The Ram Alert Processing Engine is an out-of-the-box ready to be used specialized applications that may be configure to implement your business rules regarding alerts and events automation. Theses applications runs as subtasks under our Ram Servers. There is no need to be a programmer in order to configure your business rules although it might help, but any authorized intermediate technician support personal may easily learn the RAM concepts, performs some changes in the automation logic and implement them without causing any interruption of service. Most of your business intelligence and automation of events and alerts take place by configuring your APE engines.  APE engines are highly specialized components that may process complex automation logic with a high throughput (more than 100 events per second).  Imagine the total throughput you can achieve by combining many concurrently running APE engines in a single instance or in a cluster of Ram Servers. As was said earlier, business rules may be refresh dynamically without causing any interruption of service. If you feel stuck with our proprietary langage for implementing your business rules, don't be scare because you can always extends the APE functionalities using the REXX multi-platform and very powerfull scripting langage. This is much better than having to be confined with the TEC Prolog language for implementing your business rules.
