He cumulates more than 37 years of experience in computer information and related technology. He holds a Bachelor degree in Mathematical and Computer Technology from Sherbrooke’s University (1984).  During his studies, he worked at Loto-Quebec, CN and National Bank as a programmer.  He became an MVS system engineer in the operating system division for IST from 1985 to 1989 and was team co-ordinator in his last two years. From 1989 to 1991, at Prima Telematic, he was involved with telematics and emerging technology such as Minitel, Napls, Alex terminals, Videoway, Prodigy Services and Voice-Response Unit with Dialogic Cards.  During this period, he also offered consulting services for clients such as Gaz Metropolitain, Micro-Tempus, DGI (government of Quebec).

In 1991, he accepts an opening at Desjardins as a VTAM/SNA system programmer to acquire further expertise in the telecommunication area and in the banking sector. From 1991 to 1996, he became an architect specialized in network management and alerts automation.  During this period, he designed and led the Magda project team at Desjardins in automating management of alerts and events for all ATMs and other specialized network components.  In 1992, he receive an award in Technology Innovation from La Federation d’Informatique du Quebec for Magda. In 1995, he completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and International Management at HEC Montreal University.

In 1996, he found a software development company, Apisoft Techno Vision Corporation.  Since then, he has provided custom-made software and consulting services in specialized area such as Network Management (Tivoli), MQ Series and architecture in general for MVS, Java, Windows and Unix operating systems for well-known companies such as Microcell-Rogers (Fido cellular telephony), Standard-Life (insurance), Bombardier (engineer and manufacturing), Desjardins (banking), Equifax (International Credit Bureau provider), FleetMind and various others companies in the larger Montréal area.

He still has a passion for coding, having written more than a million lines of codes in various languages such as Java, C#, mainframe assembler, Rexx, PL/1, C, C++, Cobol, and a lot of older programming languages during his career.
